The Fiji Sugar Corporation is processing all the tenders received from the tractor trailer operators to water cane fields affected by the prolonged dry spell.

Chief Operating Officer, Navina Chandra, says this is done to salvage to newly planted canes.

Chandra says the FSC doesn’t want the newly planted cane under the Cane Development Program to go to waste during this dry spell.

He the watering process is expected to begin soon.
