Free Wi-Fi launched in Valelevu

Good news for people living in Valelevu, Nasinu as they can now enjoy free internet following the launch of the free public Wi-Fi hot spots today.

Walesi director Robert Khan says the free Wi-Fi hot spot will encourage more people to use the internet.

Khan says the free Wi-Fi hot spot has also been strategically set up to provide safe spaces for people to be able to congregate, meet and use the internet services.

This is the 14th site for the digital initiative, which has also been filtered to block any adverse content.

The free WiFi hot spots is an initiative which was announced in the 2018-2019 National Budget with an allocation of $40 million for increased speed in public WiFi hot spots around Fiji.
