Free medical services for the North

People in the North will be able to access free medical services next week by the Sathya Sai International Organisations of Australia and Fiji.

Through a partnership with the Fijian government, the organisation has brought in a team of doctors to provide free medical check-ups and consultations for all age groups, including women, children, senior citizens and persons living with disabilities.

Services include general medical check-ups, paediatric and surgical check-ups, obstetrics and gynaecology, eye clinics, dental services in extractions, fillings, denture repairs and relines.

From next week, the team will be at Nasavusavu Secondary School in Savusavu on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th August.

Then on Wednesday 19thAugust they will be at Dreketi Primary School and at Vunika Primary School in Labasa on Thursday 20th.

Team leader Lawrence Kissun is urging people in the North to take advantage of the opportunity.

He says where necessary, free medications will also be provided.
