Fijians residing within the greater Nausori area will receive free eye clinics from next week.
The mobile eye clinic will be based at Wainibokasi Hospital from Monday to the 28th of next month to offer services such as refraction, diabetes retinopathy screening and dispensing of spectacles.
People with eye complications are urged to visit the free clinic for immediate check-up and specialized treatment.
The Health Ministry is advising residents to take full advantage of this opportunity to access eye care and eye surgery.
The initiative is a partnership with Fred Hollows Foundation through the Pacific Eye Institute aimed at providing mobile eye services to remote locations.
