FRCA to reveal investigation findings soon

An investigation into the possible collusion of Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority officers and some second hand dealership owners will be finalized next week.

FRCA CEO Jitoko Tikolevu says the investigation has concluded and the authority is now finalizing its decision with regards to what action will be taken.

Tikolevu had earlier told FBC News that they have in the past suspended the trading licenses of those dealerships found involved in fraudulent activities.

FBC understands there are allegations of corruption in which some customs officers were given free cars.
