The Fiji Roads Authority will be carrying out the Water Authority and Telecommunication Fiji Limited’s underground crossing construction on Kings Road from Nakasi to Nausori in Suva this weekend.
As a consequence, the main highway from Nakasi to Nausori will be affected from 9pm tonight to 5am tomorrow.
The FRA says during this time traffic diversion options will be applicable.
The workers will use ‘Stop and Go’ traffic control throughout the duration of the works and diversion of both traffic on one side of the road shoulder.
The travelling public are requested to strictly adhere to the traffic management signage in place to ensure the safety of other motorists and workmen alike.
Travelers along this area are advised to take this notice into account when finalising travel plans.
