The Fiji Roads Authority is expecting a good budget which will help them carry out work on infrastructure around the country.

Chief Executive Jonathan Moore says these infrastructure includes jetties, bridges, roads, and crossings.

Moore says they have submitted their application to the government and are hoping for a good outcome.

“I am the same as everyone else in Fiji. I am waiting in anticipation to find out. We have put in our application. Whatever will be allocated, we will use it wisely.”

The FRA was allocated $527.5 million in last year’s budget.

$26.8 million was for operational expenditure while $500.8 million was for capital expenditure.
