The Fiji Roads Authority is concerned with an increase in speeding cases in the Western Division.

Chief executive, Jonathan Moore, says they are working closely with the Land Transport Authority and the police to curb this national issue.

“So we don’t want to put major speed bumps on these highways, so what we are doing in Matintar and Namaka we have put in traffic lights and those traffic lights have may benefits, they control the traffic, improve congestion and allow pedestrian to cross.”
