FRA Chief Executive, Jonathan Moore says this is a major boost for them as it will assist in achieving some of the work already in the pipeline .

“Looks like what we can do what we want to achieve this year. More long term endurable repairs and we can work on the bridges and critical activities we need to work on but will need to go through some details first before I can go into the numbers so it’s positive and we’re happy."

Moore says the new allocation will give them an opportunity to change some of the things they had done in the past years – to be less reactive and more proactive so they can carry out more repairs to the road networks.
