A four year-old girl who was allegedly assaulted by her father in Samabula, Suva is still admitted at the CWM Hospital.
The 25-year old man is alleged to have thrown a root-crop at his three year old niece and also slapped her several times.
Following this, he’s also alleged to hit his daughter with another object causing injuries.

The alleged incident was reported at the Samabula Police Station yesterday by a close relative who saw visible injuries on the bodies of the young children when visiting their Samabula home.
The man remains in police custody.
Investigation continues.
