June 25, 2018 7:53 pm

The Republic of Fiji Military Forces confirms four people are facing six charges in relation to the grounding of the Fiji Naval Ship, RFNS Kiro on Belcher Reef on 14th July 2016.

Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Jone Kalouniwai says the trial may take a couple of weeks to complete.

He says the case has taken a while to reach this stage as proper investigations and related military legal procedures had to be put in place before the conduct of the General Court Martial (GCM).
