Marinitawa Crossing No. 2 in Ba is only accessible to 4x4 vehicles.

Due to the heavy downpour in the Western Division – four roads in Ba have been closed to all traffic.

The Fiji Roads Authority notes that Navala Crossing just before the village on Navula Road is closed due to flooding.

Toge 1st crossing is closed due to flooding. Balevuto Crossing No.2 and Marinitawa Crossing No.2 are also closed.

Meanwhile, Savusavu crossing in Ra is also closed to traffic.

The public are advised not to attempt to cross flooded roads and crossings.

The FRA is advising all drivers and pedestrians to take precautionary measures.
