A former journalist and three other men of Nadonumai who allegedly assaulted a man causing his death, last year appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court.

The four men are charged with manslaughter.

Prosecution Office in Suva confirms that their file has been sent to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

It is alleged that the deceased was drunk and caused an argument which led to the alleged assault by the men.

The case is expected to be called in the Suva High Court on the 20th of January, 2016.
