A former TLTB employee who is alleged to have stolen more than seventy thousand dollars has been further remanded.

29-year-old Makelesi Roqica is charged with theft. She appeared at the Sigatoka Magistrates Court today, filing an application for bail, which will be heard on Monday.

It is alleged that Roqicastole the money while receipting crown lease payments from June 2013 to 2015.

The court heard that in 2014 the audits showed that there was a mismanagement of revenue records which led to the investigation and subsequent arrest of Roqica.
