The seventh witness in the alleged rape trial of a former school teacher took the witness stand today in the Suva High Court yesterday.

The complainant told the Court the accused allegedly touched her private parts when she was in the classroom while other students were playing outside.

The Court also heard that this is not the first time it happened, and she was told by the accused not to tell anyone about the incident.

She said she reported the matter to another teacher.

Thirteen prosecution witnesses are expected to be called in the trial.
