A former postal agent based in Oneata Postal agency in the Lau group is expected to appear in the Suva Magistrates Court this afternoon charged with the alleged offences of theft and embezzlement.

The woman is currently in custody.

It is alleged that the money involved totaled to more than sixty seven thousand dollars and the alleged offences happened between 2013 and 2014.

She is expected to appear in court this afternoon.
