A twenty-seven-year-old former post master of Keiyasi, Navosa has been sentenced to sixteen months imprisonment by Sigatoka Magistrate Tomasi Bainivalu.

Graham George Boultan pleaded guilty to several counts of theft.

The Court heard between January and May last year, Boultan stole more than twenty-three thousand dollars in cash, phone cards and other items from the Post Shop.

While sentencing the man Magistrate Bainivalu said the purpose of the sentence is to remind him that every crime has its consequences.
