Foreign Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola has invited his Indonesia counterpart Retno Marsudi to attend the 3rd Pacific Islands Development Summit that will be held in August.
He also invited the Minister to attend the Joint Ministerial Meeting and the 3rd Coordinating Policy Dialogue.
The two ministers met during the 60th Commemoration of Asian-African Conference and the 10th Anniversary of the New Asian-African Strategic Partnership in Jakarta.
During the meet Kubuabola also acknowledged the support of the Indonesian Peace and Security Center for accepting the invitation to have joint programs for training between the Fijian and Indonesian peacekeepers.
The two Ministers also discussed efforts to further deepen the existing cooperation and people-to-people contacts.
