The Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation has officially signed an agreement with the Saint Vincent DePaul for the Food bank initiative.

Saint Vincent DePaul was given ten thousand dollars grant by the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and its the first to open Fijis First Food bank initiative.

The food bank will store foods and items donated by different NGO’s, government ministries, business partners and faith groups in country.
The Food bank is expected is open week.
