FNU welcomes the partnership with Agriculture Ministry

The Fiji National University’s College of Agriculture has welcomed the partnership with the Agriculture Ministry to formulate policies which will benefit the sector.

College Dean, Professor Paul Ade Iji (Pauliji) says two institutions will work hand in hand towards modernizing the agricultural sector.

Professor says the full potential of the industries can be realized through stronger research and extension collaboration between all the stakeholders.

“We whole heartedly accept the request for collaboration with the ministry of agriculture and we are open to wide pool of expertise in the University to the development of agriculture in Fiji.”

The Fiji National University will provide the innovation and research that is essential to implement the agricultural policy documents.

This collaboration will carve the path to overcome the complex challenges that the agriculture sector faces.
