FNU happy with student application numbers

The Fiji National University has noted an increase in the number of applications received this year when compared to 2017 and 2016.

University’s Vice Chancellor, Nigel Healey says the numbers are pleasing.

First Semester for FNU starts on February 5th and the University has received many applications from regional and local students.

Vice Chancellor, Nigel Healey says that in 2017, the university saw a 9 per cent increase in student enrolments when compared to 2016.

“Applications for 2018 currently is at around 15, 500 which is up on same time last year where we were at 14, 500. We are confident that 2018 will be a good year.”

He says that the university has also received close to 500-600 applications from regional students.

He has also urged students to apply as applications are still open.
