Major renovation and construction will be carried out at the Fiji National University campuses around the country.
Vice Chancellor, Nigel Healey says this will enable the university to lift its services provided to the students.
“Its $51 million in 2018 on new buildings and 9 million on upgrade of existing facilities. So if you go around this campus, this is our oldest campus, as you will see quite a lot of building work underway.”
Healey says that animal hospital, new labs and livestock shed will be constructed at Koronivia.
New buildings are also in place for Fiji Maritime Academy.
He says that Nasinu FNU Campus will have a new creative arts building, business school and gymnasium.
Meanwhile, the FNU Lautoka campus has opened a 670 seater lecture theatre which is the largest in Fiji.
