FNPF organized another retirement expo

The Fiji National Provident Fund has organized another expo to build awareness amongst its members on the benefits of retirement savings.

This as the Fund continues to face challenges as many of its members have low balances.

FNPF General Manager Member Services, Alipate Waqirawai, says they have been looking at different ways to educate members on the importance of retirement savings and the expo is one of them.

“People should come and access the information because the first step is getting information. When you have enough information only then you can take other steps to determine the type of life you want to live when you reach your retirement.”

Waqairawai says retirement is a reality and the quality of life after that depends on how much has been saved.

He adds people should come and access the information in order to plan their retirement.

The Expo is being held at the FNPF Boulevard in Suva and ends on Saturday.
