FNPF makes provisions to their existing medical scheme

The Fiji National Provident Fund has made changes to the provisions in their existing medical assistance scheme.

Members can now purchase medical equipment under the new withdrawal policy which came into effect from February 1st.

General Manager Member Services, Alipate Waqairawai says providing the basic medical needs for loves one’s will now be easy.

“We can assist for hearing aid for those who have hearing difficulties and also prosthetics for those whose legs have been amputated to assist with mobility. We can pay for any prosthetic and the third one is we can also supply for wheel chairs to also increase mobility.”

The Fiji National Provident Fund has made changes to its eligibility criteria.

Waqairawai says for these sorts of assistance, payments will be made directly to the supplier and there will be no cash distributions.
