Members of the Fiji National Provident Fund have expressed their appreciation for the forums and the information shared with them.

The exit survey conducted at the end of each forum revealed that a majority of the 540 attendees were extremely pleased with the Forum especially in relation to the information and structure of the presentation and the question and answer sessions.

FNPF CEO Mr Jaoji Koroi says the Forum is an avenue to hear from members and pensioners and at the same time implement changes according to the concerns raised.

One of the changes that was done is that members can now use their funds to build homes within their spouses’ village boundary.

Koroi says another major change is the timeline for the pensioner renewal certificates that has been extended to six months from four months given concerns raised by pensioners on the difficulties they encountered with the previous arrangements.

The 2018 Forums were held in Labasa, Nadi, Lautoka, Rakiraki and Suva.
