The Fiji Labour Party says they will discuss issues relating to the party’s leadership at the National Council meeting next week.

The Management Board met in Suva yesterday to discuss policies ahead of this year’s general election.

Assistant general secretary, Aman Singh, says the board also discussed names of candidates who will contest the elections on the FLP ticket.

“Firstly I have no comments about the party’s leadership and secondly that’s a matter for the National council to decide on but we’re looking forward to presenting our manifesto in the coming months and we’re quite excited about what we will be proposing and what we hope to deliver for the people.”

Singh says the provisional candidates list for the general election will be announced in the coming weeks.
