“Air, water, land, transport, education, employment and security of life – we the FLP consider as our priority. These are the basic needs of the people which must be equally available to all citizens regardless of one’s economic status.”

The topic of an opposition collision was yet again mentioned by Party Leader, Mahendra Chaudhry.

“Everywhere we go people say why don’t you unite and then fight, this is a message that is coming very clearly from the masses but we still have to convince other political leaders that this is the way to go in which we can guarantee success in the elections.”

The party delegates also spoke about issues regarding Social Justice and Equity, Representation, Accountability and Transparency in Governance and Human Rights and Elections.

Close to eighty people turned up for the Party’s Annual Delegates Convention.
