The Fiji Labour Party has already received applications from people wanting to join the party and stand for the General Election this year.

Party Leader, Mahendra Chaudhry, says they had put out advertisements last year and so far received a number of applications.

“Apart from this we are also head hunting for candidates because there are many people out who do not respond to a written advertisement but have expressed interest in joining the party and we are currently interviewing them.”
