Five Fiji Military officers suspended

Five Fiji Military Forces officers who were being investigated over allegations of misuse of funds have been suspended.

This has been confirmed by Military Chief of staff Brigadier-General Mohammed Aziz.

He says the officers are alleged to have misused military funds.

FBC NEWS understands investigations began after an audit by the Ministry of Finance.

Brigadier-General Aziz couldn’t confirm the amount of money involved as investigations are continuing.
