Five charged for allegedly stealing money

The five men aged between eighteen and twenty-one alleged to have stolen money from Macuata Muslim League office in Naseakula, Labasa have been charged.

All five accused are students and they committed the alleged offence over the weekend.

It is alleged they broke into the office located adjacent to the mosque and stole more than $4, 000.

They have each been charged with one count of aggravated burglary and theft.

They will appear in the Labasa Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Police say the money allegedly stolen has been recovered fully.
