Public Service Commission Chairman Vishnu Mohan has expressed his condolences at the passing of Permanent Secretary for Fisheries Sanaila Naqali.

Mohan says Naqali had a long career in serving the Fijian public, rising through the ranks of both civil service and the Fiji Navy

Mohan has acknowledged Naqali’s service to the country.

Before being appointed to his role as Permanent Secretary in September of last year Naqali served as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Fisheries and Forests.

He was also previously a senior manager in the Fijian Civil Service and formerly served as a senior officer in the Republic of Fiji Military Forces’ Naval Division.
