Firefighters were able to contain a fire that broke out at Level 9, Ro Lalabalavu House in Suva this morning.

FBC News was at the site where billows of smoke were seen coming from the building’s top floor.

It’s believed the fire started from the tea room but was extinguished by the sprinkler in the building which was activated as soon as the fire started.

There was also quick action from the National Fire Authority.

No one was injured.

The NFA is yet to release further details.
