The National Fire Authority is looking at recruiting 35 new officers during the first quarter of this year.

This is to assist in the providing of efficient and effective services to the public.

NFA Chief Executive, Manasa Lesuma says these new fire fighters will work at the two new stations in Rakiraki and Nabouwalu in Bua.

Two stations will also open later in the year in Lami and Nakasi, Nasinu.
