The house which was destroyed by fire was vacant while the family living in the double storey house managed to get out of the house safely.

NFA investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.

Chief executive John O’Connor is reiterating NFA’s advice on the importance of fire safety at home.

He says fire incidents can be avoided if we all take fire safety seriously.
