A classroom building at the entrance of Lelean Memorial School in Davuilevu, Nausori was destroyed in a fire this afternoon.

Videos posted on social media show thick black smoke and flames fully engulfing the building.

It is not yet ascertained what caused the fire however investigation has began into the incident.

FBC News is trying to get more details.

It’s understood the burnt building was the Form 3 classroom block.

The National Fire Authority is investigating the incident.
