A four bedroom house at Kaudamu road in Kinoya, Nasinu was destroyed in a fire this morning.

The National Fire Authority has confirmed the incident adding there were no casualties.

It’s believed the fire began after a family dispute around 8am.

It’s believed that following the argument, a member of the family is alleged to have lit a matchstick and threw it inside the house.

However, when fire-fighters reached the scene, the house was already on fire.

The fire-fighters managed to contain it from spreading to nearby homes.

The case has been handed to the Police for further investigation.
