A fisherman who travelled from Suva to Koro Island to catch fish was ordered to pay a fine of $200 or to spend twenty days behind bars.

Nacanieli Ravai of Narere, Nasinu was charged with illegal fishing.

The court heard that Ravai and six others were fishing illegally and were caught.

The payment of his fine will be reviewed on the 23rd of next month.
