Around thirty-three youths from the Vatukalo Youth Club in Ovalau were part of a Financial Literacy Business Training last week.
Minister Responsible, Laisenia Tuitubou, encouraged the participants to use the knowledge gained and expand their bee keeping project.
Tuitubou says this was aimed at empowering youths to have a sound knowledge of finance and business administration.
He says that it also allows the Ministry to fulfill one of the Sustainable Development Goals which is to achieve decent work and economic growth.
Through the initiative, youths were well equipped in finance management and have acquired skills in preparing budgets and predicting profits and expenses.
Vatukalo Youth Club president, Tevita Dra says this has offered comprehensive finance solutions for youths whether it be for their Bee Keeping Project or as an individual in the proper management of income and expenditure.
