The Employment Ministry is in the process of finalizing Fiji’s first National Employment Policy.

This was revealed by Permanent Secretary for Employment, Sala Daunabuna during the Employers Forum.

Daunabuna says the ministry has realized the areas necessary to grow employment.

“There are ten key priorities under that policy but there are priority areas that have come out of wide consultations with a lot of consultations which would also include yourself -Representations from your organizations.”

Daunabuna says the policy is near completion and is being undertaken by the National Employment Centre together with the International Labor Organization and Asian Development Bank.
