Final report for Elections in a week

The Multinational Observer Group is drafting its final report on the assessment of Fiji’s 2014 Election.

Observer Mihai Sora did not give a time frame, but says the MOG hopes to deliver the report to the Government in the coming weeks.

Sora says the report requires careful consideration of the full body of observations compiled by the 92 observers and consultation of all 15 countries and organizations that participated.

The MOG expects the report to be made public.

The MOG began their assessment of Fiji’s election early August, in the country to witness the National Candidate List draw on August 23 up till the release of the final election results on 22 September.
