“The day before a major event, it’s always a last minute rush, you’re just trying to make sure that you’ve got all the details down pat but I am very confident that we’re ready and this place is looking absolutely stunning.”

Police checkpoints have been set up to ensure the safety of all the delegates with more than 400 officers deployed for the ADB operation.

The focus of deliberations at the meeting will be on a number of key themes such as climate change, ocean health, gender equality and renewable energy.
