23 new flag designs have been chosen by the National Flag Committee after reviewing more than 2,000 entries received during the national flag competition.

A new website will be created for people to provide feedback on the designs.

The website address will be www.newfijiflag.com.

Fijians can also send their feedbacks through text message, email, social media and through the mail.

A period of public consultation and feedback will end on July 1.

The results will be submitted to Cabinet for consideration.

Cabinet will then submit them to Parliament to vote on the new national flag.

The whole process has been designed so the new flag will be ready to be hoisted on the 45th anniversary of Fiji’s independence on October 10th this year.
