FijiFirst party walks the talk: Ro Aca

The son of the Vunivalu of Rewa, Ro Aca Mataitini has thrown his support behind the FijiFirst government because he believes the party has proven itself and has what it takes to govern all Fijians for another next four years.

Ro Aca who has traditional close ties with SODELPA parliamentary leader Ro Teimumu Kepa, told FBC News that the work done by the current government speaks volume of what they can and will do for all Fijians.

Considered as one of the most prominent personality’s in the Province of Rewa, Mataitini’s overwhelming endorsement for the FijiFirst government carries a lot of weight within this community.

“Well they have said it and they have proven themselves in the last four years and i believe if they are there for the next four years they will continue the work that they are doing.”

Ro Aca has also mounded praise on the Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, the one person in the FijiFirst party that SODELPA has been targeting strongly for a number of years.

“He is one person within government that is really walking the talk saying things and actually doing it, going around and talking to the people and one thing we are glad about the Minister because he talks issues.”

The Rewan chief says he will always respect SODELPA’s Ro Teimumu Kepa as the paramount chief of Rewa but stresses that politically there is huge support within the province for the FijiFirst government to continue.
