It has been confirmed that the FijiFirst party will announce its fifty-one proposed candidates this afternoon.

Party leader, Voreqe Bainimarama says the party will propose a strong line-up.

Bainimarama says there are a number of young influential women that will be contesting in this year’s general election including pageant queens.

The list also includes radio personalities, a former ambassador, a prominent businessman and a renowned medical practitioner to name a few.

He says that this is in addition to some current Members of Parliament who will stand yet again on the FijiFirst ticket.

Bainimarama will be announcing their proposed candidates list at the FijiFirst headquarters in Toorak, Suva.
