The FijiFirst Party has announced a power-packed line-up of proposed contestants for the upcoming General Election.

Announcing the 51 candidates, Party Leader, Voreqe Bainimarama says the party strives to maintain a diversified and inclusive bodies of representatives.

Bainimarama says most of the sitting Members of Parliament will again contest the Election, however, some have decided not to contest.

Evident in the list announced are the prominent women in the likes of publisher Naziah Ali, TV personality, Ateca Ledua and former Miss South Pacific Anne Dunn along with Premila Kumar who was the former chief executive of Consumer Council.

Nadroga football coach Joseph Nitya Nand along with radio personalities, Virendra Lal and Rohit Ritesh Sharma have also been named.

Bainimarama has also confidently stated that the Party is ready to head to the election with positive outcomes.

He adds the party manifesto will be announced soon, where the proposed candidates will focus towards delivering to the needs of all Fijians.

The biodata of each candidate is expected to be in the newspapers this weekend.
