FijiFirst maintains lead on the official election results tally

FijiFirst continues to be the leading party on votes in the latest official results for the 2018 General Election, securing 174, 595 votes tallied so far.

SODELPA now has 139, 743 votes from the 1, 715 Polling stations now finalised out of 2, 173.

The National Federation Party continues in third place, now with 25, 729 votes, followed by Unity Fiji with 5, 255 votes, Fiji Labour Party with 2, 212 votes and HOPE now securing 2, 149 votes.

Meanwhile, FijiFirst leader, Voreqe Bainimarama has vast lead on the candidate list with 129, 344 votes well ahead of his rival SODELPA Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka who follows with 59, 189 votes.

Bringing up the third place is FijiFirst candidate Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum with 12, 989 votes while NFP Leader Professor Biman Prasad is currently in fourth place with 9, 283 votes.

SODELPA Candidate Lynda Tabuya is in fifth place having accumulated 6, 479 votes so far.

The election count results will continue to be officially released by the Fijian Elections Office App as the day progresses with the next update expected at six tonight.
