FijiFirst leader Frank Bainimarama has come out strongly to say his Government will not tolerate any instance of individuals or groups who break the law.

“Let me make this quite clear so that there is no doubt in the minds of everyone. The commander of the RFMF and the Police Commissioner agree with me that the full brunt of the law and the security forces will decent on any persons who cause trouble before, during or after the elections.

Speaking at the launch of the Grand Fijian Tower project in Suva last night, Bainimarama also gave a strong reassuring message to the business community.

“I will not tolerate a climate of intimidation and fear and to the business community I say we will do everything we can to keep the peace. Suva will not be allowed to burn as it did in 2000 in one of the most disgraceful episodes in our nation’s history.”

He also encouraged those present at the launch that they need to make their vote count by choosing the right party.
