FijiFirst leader Voreqe Bainimarama is confident that he will secure more votes in this year’s election.

He adds FijiFirst will also secure more seats in parliament than any other party contesting the election.

Responding to SODELPA leader Sitiveni Rabuka’s invite to work together with FijiFirst come November 15th, Bainimarama says it’s a joke.

“He’s got to be kidding. One I will win more seats than him. Two, I will never, never, never work with people like him. Because their policies are that of discrimination. Exactly opposite to mine and my team. How can I work with people like that and a team like that?”

Rabuka yesterday highlighted they’re willing to work with the FijiFirst post-poll however, stating that Bainimarama should be his junior partner.

“But it’s not new in relation to the ideas, the development aims, we are all for development, it’s just the way of doing it, so he can come and join and be my junior partner in my part, in my government."

Bainimarama adds his party is confident to secure 51 seats while Rabuka has only pledged they will secure 28 seats in parliament.
