FijiFirst put up a strong campaign based on equal citizenry, a common identity and reform and improvement of government services.

The support of the Fiji Military has always been a talking point for the Prime Minister, even in Labasa, he gave thanks to the RFMF for unwaveringly standing by him since the events of 2000 and for believing in the ideals of FijiFirst.

“It is their legacy that today we have a democratically elected parliamentary government under an internationally acclaimed constitution with a vast area of civil, political and socio-economic rights that will deliever good governance and transparency.”

This is Bainimarama’s first visit to the North as the elected leader.

He’s made tours of various government projects underway in Vanua Levu and has been brought up to speed on works that will begin shortly.
