The relationship between the Fijian government and the European Union has come a long way and will continue with the aim of bringing in more development.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chief Protocol Officer, Neumi Leweni says the EU has proven their commitment to Fiji over the years especially in times of natural disasters.
Leweni says this relationship is expected to soar to greater heights in years to come.
“The European Union has also been assisting Fiji tremendously in terms of access to Fiji, sustaining Fiji’s rural livelihood as well as their strong support following the devastation of Cyclone Winston.”
The EU says the agreement will make a difference in partnership with Fiji and one of their main aims is the smoothing of the visa regimen between the EU and Fiji.
